  • Original idea by ams7rik3 due to his rookie experiences in music video subbed project (the PROJECT) ~ he considered this as for fun.
  • Recruit his fellow colleague, fivenuckles2 who also found to like this kind of PROJECT.
  • Discussion to create a website for the PROJECT is being finalized.

2011


February 2011

  • First Offical Facebook for Kumasub is officially launched:
    • Launched date: 1st February 2011
    • Not widely shared until it is expended during the middle of March 2011.
    • Facebook version: 1
  • Kumasub (version 1) is officially launched:
    • Original admins: ams7rik3 (a.k.a adham-san) & fivenuckles2.
    • Host: wordpress.com (http://kumasub.wordpress.com)
    • Launched date: 11th February 2011
    • First PROJECT is published, Arashi - Hatenai Sora.
  • Early methods use:

September 2011

  • Kumasub version 1 is banned due to violations of fairly use of the host.
    • We admit that we not aware of the wordpress's rules.

October 2011

  • Kumasub is revived as version 2:
    • Host: 000webhost (http://kumasub.net76.net)
      • Original idea by fivenuckles2
    • Interface/GUI: wordpress templates
  • Start focusing on using high quality videos as the primary source.

February 2012

  • Kumasub celebrate the 1st anniversary on 11th February 2012.

May 2012

  • Admins' skills of subbing progress is improved, updated and upgraded:

Jun 2012

  • Kumasub main storage account, Mediafire, is banned due to 3 strikes rules:
    • Mainly because of PSY's MV and Kalafina's PVs.
    • Currently using second Mediafire accounts, ZippyShare, MEGA, and 2shared as alternative storages.

July 2012

  • Kumasub version 2 is suddenly down:
    • Unable to revived due to host's weird policies and undetectable unexpectedly very weight in contents (honestly, the blog just only consists of words and embed photos).

November 2012

  • Kumasub is revived as version 3:

December 2012

  • Kumasub is using another new host as version 4:
    • Launched date: 24th December 2012
    • Pay-per-Host provided by new admin, Raven-Zero (a.k.a arham-san).
    • Interface/GUI: wordpress templates
    • Current status: Down.
